Crestwood Public Library cards are accepted at any member library of the Metropolitan Library System (MLS).

TWO-WEEK LOAN
Books, audio books, and music CDs.

ONE-WEEK LOAN
Encyclopedias, magazines and non-fiction videos and DVDs.

3-DAY LOAN
Feature film DVDs and Videos
$1.00 per 3 day rental

RENEWALS
Renewals can be made at the library, by phone or online.

BOOK DROP
Open for book and magazine returns when library is closed.
Audio-visual items must be returned at the Circulation Desk.
$5.00 fee (per item) if returned in book drop.

To use Ecommerce log into "My Account".  When screen repaints, enter your name, barcode, and PIN number - click submit.

Pay your overdue fines and fees for lost or damaged materials at your convenience from the comfort of your home or office.  SWAN Ecommerce is an online payment service which allows patrons to pay any or all of their overdue fines or fees while using an online catalog in the library or from any PC via the internet.  Ecommerce will accept your MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card.  However, it will not accept debit cards or PayPal accounts.

Ecommerce uses VeriSign to tranmit secure payments.  Your credit card information is not stored in the library's database and the infomation is encrypted before it is transmitted via a secure gateway connection.  Charges on your library account are cleared as soon as the transaction is accepted.  There is no service fee to pay online.  The merchant on your credit card statement will be "Metropolitan Library System," not the Crestwood Public Library.

If you have given your e-mail address to the library, or enter it in the online payment form, a receipt will be e-mailed to you from swanecom@mls.lib.il.us.  You can print a receipt if the PC you are using is connected to a printer.
